I think that a lot of good comments were mentioned when we performed this piece in class. I really liked the sounds of crunching on the veggies and I think that it would have been funny to have used whole vegetables and really emphasized the satire of the piece. To me, this was about mocking high art, how it is so often taken so seriously and is expected to require intellectual "digestion" that only the highly educated can understand. Food is something that all can relate to and I think so is art if it is done right (what ever that means), whether positive or negative. Foods elicit emotion and so does art. We ate it, digested it, and painted.  I wonder if we had painted on something edible how that would have changed the audience's perception of it.
